IP Site Connect (VIPER)

By using the global coverage provided by the Internet, it is a simple process to link sites that are many miles apart, even in different countries.  Where a radio signal would fail to travel the distance, the speech (or data) can be linked via the Internet and then re-transmitted at its destination allowing truly global coverage.

With the addition of a command and control software package (also known as a dispatcher) you will have the ability to oversee your radio operations graphically, tracking your fleet and communicating with them at the touch of a button.

Alarms and warning messages will be displayed locally and can be set to trigger specific responses such as warning SMS messages or emails.

Radio Links

In some circumstances it is still preferable to use radio links between remote sites. There are a wide variety of microwave radio systems capable of achieving this . Many of these employ near line of site or NLOS technology. This means that sites do not necessarily have to be within visual range to allow a connection to be established. Historically, if ‘line of site’ was not possible between two sites then they could not be connected; this is no longer the case.
